Mission
Fonctions et responsabilités :
The Head of Technology will responsible for various aspects of the technology function for a high growth software as a service (SaaS) company, specialised in the global independent wine market.
• Team management
• Managing infrastructure
• Day to day operations
• Monitoring
• Infrastructure improvements (better backups, fault tolerance, etc.)
• Strategic planning, product roadmap
• Security
• Providing support to the development and deployment teams to ensure best practice
• Develop and improve support procedures
• Presenting IT
Profil recherché
An experienced professional who may have gone back to study at a high level eg MBA for a period of time, whether due to Covid or in order to equip themselves for moving from purely technical roles to a senior leadership role backed up with considerable technical experience and organisational skills.
Passionate about focusing on the needs of clients and the markets in which they operate. Scathing of development practices that are disconnected from client drivers of success and improvement. The successful individual will understand the value of a SaaS product strategy, and will be more interested in managing the roadmap, rigorous documentation testing regimes, people, infrastructure and security than software development.
