AXA Corporate Center’s main missions are to:

- Steer the entities in order to ensure the coherence of the strategies, the consistency of the commercial approaches as well as the optimization of the risks and results;

- Definie and coordinate Group policies, strategic projects and standards, identify and share best practices;

- Support the entities to help them grow, develop their offer, their management and steer standards as well as their risk management.

The Head Office of AXA Group, embodied by GIE AXA and based in La Défense, gathers AXA Group Corporate, Financial Holding and Reinsurance activities. It sets the tone and coordinates AXA entities in terms of strategy from business priorities to use of capital, key projects and risk management standards for operating their business.
The headquarters are composed by over 850 employees and are distinguished by its strong international culture (45 nationalities).

Team Role Presentation:

You will join the Financial Risk Management team within the central functions of the AXA Group Risk Management (GRM). The team's main responsibility is to monitor and manage the financial risks supported by the AXA Group and its subsidiaries.

The financial risks are one of the key risks faced by AXA Group. Among those risks, the credit risk management plays an important role to ensure the resilience of AXA Group’s fixed income portfolio, in particular during market stress periods, as the recent Covid-19 crisis. Also, new sources of credit risk have emerged following Group’s transformations and acquisitions, which require a regular review of risk frameworks and governance.

Role Presentation:

You will report to the Group Head of Credit Risk and will have the opportunity to build the main Financial Risk database of the AXA Group which is used for monitoring financial risks stemming from all the asset classes and derivatives and calculate regulatory capital. In addition, you will participate to the credit risk monitoring.

1) Monitor Group Risk database on derivatives positions:

- Integrate new strategies and ensure that Group holdings are accurately represented.

- Work closely with Group Investment Allocation to ensure that complex strategies are properly modelled by the STEC team.

- Coordinate local teams and Asset managers that provide the Group holdings report.

- Animate training sessions that explain CRDB’s main principles and objectives.

2) Group Financial Risk Reporting:

- Monitor the risk of sovereign exposures

- Follow-up on limits per geographical area and investments market footprint

- Ensure the update of the frameworks on the Financial Risk Management Web Platform

- Work closely with Group Investment Allocation and Local Financial Risk Management to ensure that exposures are and remain within limits

3) Participation on team’s transversal processes that aim to either improve credit risk monitoring or data management:

- Assist the definition of business specifications

- Write process documentation

- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team

3) Organizational skills:

- Proficient writing and communication skills (delivery of presentations, documentations)
