Mission

Fonctions et responsabilités :

Pwc Luxembourg is hiring a Regulatory & Business Consulting – Senior Consultant (m/f/d). What if it was you?

Who we are:PwC Luxembourg (www.pwc.lu) is the largest professional services firm in Luxembourg with over 3,700 people employed from 94 different countries. PwC Luxembourg provides audit, tax and advisory services including management consulting, transaction, financing and regulatory advice. The firm provides advice to a wide variety of clients from local and middle market entrepreneurs to large multinational companies operating from Luxembourg and the Greater Region. The firm helps its clients create the value they are looking for by contributing to the smooth operation of the capital markets and providing advice through an industry-focused approach.

At PwC, our purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems. We’re a network of firms in 151 countries with over 364,000 people who are committed to delivering quality in assurance, advisory and tax services. Find out more and tell us what matters to you by visiting us at www.pwc.com and www.pwc.lu.

Your mission: Our Regulatory Compliance Advisory Services (RCAS) department continues to grow and we are looking for people who want to work in a dynamic and exciting environment.

Sustainable Finance (ESG), Anti-Money Laundering, Risk Management, Crypto-Assets & Blockchain or Cloud Services - these are just some of the many topics that we come across in the RCAS department on a daily basis. Due to fast evolving business & technological needs, the supranational and national bodies have imposed ever more regulatory initiatives on the financial industry. This poses a significant challenge to our clients in the Asset & Wealth Management, Alternatives, Banking and Insurance sectors, as they must cope with this new influx of requirements.

Against this background, we develop strategies for our clients to transform regulatory compliance obligations into competitive advantages, thereby instilling confidence in their regulatory responses. This is done by building business resilience and embedding regulatory requirements into their operating models in the areas of processes, governance, technology and data management.

This changing world of regulations requires a diligent team that is always able to understand new developments in that field. It is in this context that we are reaching out to you!

Be a part of our team where you will:

Support our clients to identify and to resolve important issues related to operational business, regulatory and compliance matters;

Analyse existing business processes and business models from a regulatory perspective to ensure not only compliance, but also operational efficiency of the business, always critically thinking about the associated business imperatives;

Design target operating models and subsequently implement business processes required by regulatory changes, ensuring integration with existing processes or IT requirements;

Be part of a project team that provides support to our clients in the fields of strategic decision making and data analytics, regulatory- & business consulting, project management and implementation (operational tasks, process design & implementation);

Take part in developing work plans for components of client engagements, such as service proposals or external trainings;

Develop a strong expertise regarding the regulatory framework in the respective industry you are working in (Asset & Wealth Management, Alternatives, Banking or Insurance), and in this context contribute to the development of your own and the team's technical knowledge;

Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues;

Take charge of your own relationships with stakeholders, be it the internal PwC network or external client relationships.

Profil recherché

Let’s talk about you. If you have/are …

a Bachelor or (preferably) Master degree or equivalent in law, business administration, finance or similar (e.g. "Business and Law");

profound MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills;

strong interest in the financial services industry;

are able to handle multiple tasks at the same time under pressure;

a great team player but are also capable of working independently;

at least an excellent command of written and verbal communication in English - German is considered an asset.

…You are the candidate we are looking for!

Moreover, our recruitment process is short and simple:

Technical Interview with two Business Recruiters;

HR interview with Talent Acquisition Advisor.

A final word about us:

At PwC, we believe diversity is the representation of all the characteristics that make us both alike and unique. Our backgrounds, cultures, nationalities, lifestyles, identities, opinions and beliefs, approaches to solving problems, ways of working, and views of personal and professional success, all add value to the services we deliver to our clients. Our objective is to nurture an inclusive environment where a diversity mindset is ingrained, and inclusion is the norm. We constantly focus on respecting and valuing individual differences.
